We don't hold back, here's everything included when you join today:
Weekly Office Hours Live Streams will create Revision Support that you cannot achieve from solely watching the pre recorded videos.
Just like a live class, starter questions, worked examples and exam style questions for effective revision are all included but they also allow for your questions to be answered directly, from an experienced tutor in real time as soon as they arise.

Worked Examples created exclusively by myself on each topic within the specification that will teach a student the concepts & key skills required in advance of the practice process of working through questions.
The skills learnt are essential ahead of the student’s revision process and exam style questions later in the course.

Practice Exam Style Questions on each topic will give a student a feel for both the structure and the content of an exam style question to give them a better idea of what is required of them when it comes to the exams.
With video walkthroughs and mark schemes provided, the student can see exactly what needs to be written to turn those marks they may have been dropping before into achieving the maximum amount of marks possible.

Weekly Email Updates will contain the topics covered this week with key reminders and information on what is being taught next week. Additional homework practice questions and the schedule for upcoming lessons will be included.
These will not just keep a student updated but will also provide a timely update to parents on what is being covered and what is yet to be covered ahead of exams. This makes sure a student remains on track in their preparation for their exam season.

Do you think it is possible for me to take A-level Maths and succeed, if I only achieved a level 7 at GCSE?
Yes absolutely. GCSE pupils have to divide their time across many subjects during revision and so may not have enough focus on each individual subject to reach their potential, however during A-levels you can fully commit to 3 (or possibly 4 subjects) so it really depends on how much you enjoy the subject and if you are willing to work hard to achieve a great result. I have tutored many students who have achieved a level 7 (and even a 6) at GCSE but as long as they have been prepared to put in the hours of practice, on many occasions they have to achieved an A/A* at A-Level.
When is the office hours live stream and what happens if I miss it?
The Office Hours live stream is a weekly revision support session that is on one day between Monday and Thursday during the week at an after school between 4pm-8pm.
The day/time changes from one academic year to the next but once timetables are confirmed by the end of September, it will be fixed into a regular weekly slot until exam season the following Summer. If the live support stream is ever missed, then there will be a recording of it available within 24 hours to watch at your own convenience.
How do you usually assess a student’s current abilities?
In my one to one tuition classes, we work through a series of mini assessment style questions to gauge the topics where a student feels comfortable and those where extra work may be needed. I integrate these questions into my initial sessions so that they do not feel like formal assessments and so will hopefully be less daunting for the student.
Once the initial assessment period is complete, I provide feedback to the pupil and their parents before commencing work on this ‘topics of difficulty’ list. In addition to this, I also look to introduce known key topics during the course ahead of when they are being taught them at school.
These topics are the ones that are most likely to appear on exam papers and gives the student an added confidence during school taught lessons, with these school lessons then feeling like revision sessions on topics that have already been learnt before. This process also makes sure that the entire course is covered way ahead of the exam season, allowing enough time for the effective revision process to begin.
Are the office hours just for A-Level students?
No, anyone studying A-Level Maths, GCSE Maths, as well as their parents, or even lower secondary school pupils (years 7, 8 ,9) looking to get a head start on their studies, can join to ask for advice. Although the content uploads are a work in progress, with new updates on a weekly basis, that week’s topic is not the only discussion point within the weekly office hours.
I am here to support you all with any GCSE, A-Level or general Maths studies so I am happy to help in any way I can with my Online Maths Support. Get your questions answered directly from an experienced GCSE & A-Level Maths tutor, everyone is most welcome!
